I had plans so I sent Blair and Shane back to Woodlands Road as it was going to rain for the rest of the week. They got there early and went down to the end of the road and met Colin. He wound up driving them around to all of the good trees. They shot lots of birds until the drizzle started. Now we have to finish the area which comprises four different farms. We normally finish up for the season now but they called so we will do the job for them. Next we we have three days at Pihitia then we will go back.
They did manage to pick up two melanistic peacocks which are pretty rare. The black and white striped plumage and quills are replaced wit dark blue/purple and black colours. The also picked up an albino hen. It was not pure white so it will be pelted instead of sent to the taxidermist.
