So after collecting an estimated 2800 pheasants for processing in the last five weeks, I was a little burned out. Swami made the website submission late in April. I said we would be there in July. He called at the end of June wanting us there as soon as possible. We arrived the first day of July and got there an hour or so before dark to have a look around. There were lots of birds. We started just on dark and we kept busy until we left at 11. I managed to damage my ribs catching a wounded bird and it has been pretty tough since then. But we are off to Fordell tomorrow for a few days of fun...
