We had not actually caught skippies for a couple of years until today. They are expensive to buy as you know. We headed out with the intention of targeting yellowfin with topwater lures. There were no birds or workups to be found and it was way windier than forecast. We stopped for a tarakihi fish but it was rough and the barracoutas attacked. We did get a few then a line got caught in the prop. I had to go for a swim to unwind it hence me in underwear for the video, crackup. We got so busy with skippies that I first forgot to film then forgot to get dress. Great fun!
