It is actually a swimming insect that dives under water with air bubbles attached so they can breathe. But they do have to come up for air and the trout are waiting. They swim with two arms that resemble oars on a row boat so fish them with constant, small twitches then pause. Ideally, these are used in still water situations around weed beds.
