Draper Road again

Harry took Blair to look for another deer on Yvonne's side. Spider and I explored a new part of the farm. It was a nice walk and we found some birds but not the numbers we thought we would find.

We ended up looking down at a row of poplars with the thermal from a few hundred metres. We could not decide what all the hot spots were. I thought it could be flocks of pigeons roosting. So we wandered over to the trees. I have never seen so many possums in one area, ever. Each tree had at least a dozen possums. We shot a bunch then moved on as it was time to collect the other two.

They did not find the deer they were looking for but picked up a few peacocks. It was a good, cruisy night leading to a cruisy day of processing.
