Feathergirl is a division of AIMS Limited. AIMS Limited is a company wholly owned and operated by Dave Barrett and Mawera Karetai. Also a division of AIMS Limited is Trousertrout ~ Suppliers of Quality Outdoor Sporting Equipment.

Dave and Mawera have been suppliers in the feather industry for at least the last 8 years.

In 2002 Dave started a small Trade Me based business selling sporting equipment for hunting and fishing, and then added feathers as a secondary product. Before long, feather sales were matching the sporting equipment in sales.

In 2005 Mawera joined the business and together Dave and Mawera have increased the product range available in New Zealand, and have sent feathers all over the world. This is our family business, with the children also involved in working with the feathers.

In 2007 our business' became our full-time occupation and we love it! Neither of us has ever worked harder but nor have we ever enjoyed work so much as now.
